Oak Valley Health works alongside other hospitals in the Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) to bring you our Reactivation Care Centre (RCC).

About the Reactivation Care Centre

The RCC is focused on the unique needs of patients requiring restorative care. The RCC site is an extension of Oak Valley Health, with a 28-bed unit for patients in our Alternate Level of Care Program.

If you are staying at our hospitals in acute care and you no longer require this level of care, but you still need services to improve your independence and ability to return home, you may be sent to our RCC. The RCC will help you maximize your individual strengths to your overall health advantage.

In order to support this type of care, we can offer you programs and supports including nursing, recreational, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy onsite.

We are pleased to be working with patients and their families to make this unit a place where they receive the specialized progressive care they need.
