Medical inpatient units at Markham and Uxbridge sites

The medical inpatient units in our Medicine Program provide acute care for adults with medical conditions – distinctive from surgical care needs. Our inpatient services include an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Medicine/Oncology Unit, Integrated Stroke Unit and Cardiology Unit. Nearly one-third of our beds are equipped with portable heart monitors and are known as “telemetry beds” at the Markham site.
