Volunteering at Markham Stouffville Hospital

Interested in becoming a volunteer? Markham Stouffville Hospital has over 1,200 volunteers working alongside our staff and physicians to welcome patients and their families.

Volunteers bring a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to the hospital and reflect the multiculturalism of our community. They are an extension of our staff and help improve the hospital experience for our patients and their families.

Volunteers play many roles. As a volunteer, you can provide clerical assistance, patient support, customer service or become involved in fundraising activities.
