Quality improvement planning

At MSH, delivering excellent patient care is at the heart of everything we do. We support, develop and implement strategies to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of our services.

We believe it is our duty to ensure patients receive safe, personalized care each and every day.
As such, our aim is to empower, support and inspire our staff, professional staff, and volunteers to be trusted providers of care and be the hospital of choice for extraordinary quality care and experiences.

Our quality and safety plan will provide the structure and vital link to ensuring internal consistency; the consolidation of corporate quality and safety initiatives into a single document; the enhanced ability to identify quality and safety issues and better coordination of quality and safety activities. 

This plan is not a stand-alone document and is supported by the: 2019/20 quality improvement plan; 2019/20 strategy map; Health Quality Ontario’s Quality Matters: Realizing Excellent Care for All and the Provincial Infectious Diseases Advisory Committee (PIDAC) best practice documents.
