Markham Stouffville Hospital offered its COVID-19 expertise to nursing homes from the beginning — and it worked

So when Dr. Allan Grill, chief of family medicine at Markham Stouffville Hospital, got the call that a nearby long-term-care home was dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak, he immediately offered the hospital’s expertise.
