Our Partnership with the Town of Markham

The Town of Markham is planning on building its next community centre within the community surrounding the Hospital (Cornell), and adjoining it to our new Health and Wellness Campus. The new facility is expected to provide a combination of services that will provide convenience to the community, hospital staff and community members requiring therapeutic exercise.  Services could include a hydrotherapy pool, a fitness facility and additional meeting room space.

Our Sites and the Communities we Serve

The hospital has two sites and several clinics providing community care to nearly 300,000 residents within our catchment area.  Major communities within the Markham Stouffville Hospital reach include Markham, Stouffville and Uxbridge.  The elected Mayors of each Town participate on the Hospital's volunteer Board of Directors.
