Student Volunteer Program

The Summer Student Volunteer Program is now FULL. Applications received effective April 13th, 2009 will be kept on file for our 2010 summer program. Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Markham Stouffville Hospital.

The minimum age to be a student volunteer is 14 years old (grade nine). We receive over 400 applications from students for our summer program and it is filled on a first come, first served basis. The earlier you apply, the better your chances are of getting a position.

Applications may be picked up in the Volunteer Office Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 pm and at the main information desk during off hours.

Interviews for university students will be held in mid-April and interviews for high school students will be held in mid-June.
