Respiratory Therapy

Markham Stouffville Hospital’s Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) team operates round the clock to provide respiratory services throughout the Hospital.

As well as being integral members of the cardiac arrest team and the Intensive Care unit, RRT services include neonatal deliveries, artificial ventilation, oxygen therapy, respiratory assessments, inhalation therapy and airway management through paediatric and adult intubations.
