What you should know

Our Lactation Consultants, who are International Board Certified, see new mothers after delivery at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Consultations take place in the core annex, just west of the main Hospital building, adjacent to the parking lot.

Breastfeeding Me Class:
This class is offered to women who are between 36-38 weeks of pregnancy.  It prepares new Moms to manage the first minutes, hours, days and weeks of breastfeeding. Classes are offered most Saturdays from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at a cost of $25.00 (cash or credit card).

Breastfeeding pillows and covers can be purchased at the clinic.
