Start with the end in mind

When you know ahead of time that you will be admitted to the Hospital you can arrange a few things that will contribute to your comfort while here and will help your quick return home. 

Oddly enough, one of the first things we suggest you prepare is for your return home... arrange your transportation home from the Hospital even as you are getting ready to come to the Hospital.
