Hospitals are mandated to use parking fees as a revenue source to supplement Government funding. Parking revenues help us provide the community with programs and services it needs.

Visitor's Parking Lot

Parking is available at the Markham site on the south side of Church Street between Ninth Line and Bur Oak. This lot can be accessed by the entrance off of Butternut Lane.

Medical Office Building

Limited parking is available in front of the Medical Office Building on the north side of the Hospital. Pay and Display parking is effective in this lot only. Alternatively you may park in the visitor's parking lot.

Parking for Persons with Disabilities

The hospital has numerous spots designated for accessibility parking located within close proximity to the hospital entrances. There are also ramps into all parking kiosks.  

Payment Options

Patients and visitors have two options available when paying for parking.

Option 1: Regular Payment

• Obtain a ticket upon entry and keep it with you during your visit.
• Prior to returning to your vehicle, make your payment at one of our conveniently located Payment Stations. Our new machines accept bills, coins and credit cards.
• Insert your pre-paid ticket as you exit.

Option 2: Express Payment

• Insert your credit card at the point of entry and reinsert into the exit gate upon leaving. Your receipt will be printed at this time.

Payment Stations

There are five pay stations - one in the hospital lobby, three in the visitor parking lot and one in the Medical Office Building lobby. A weekly, monthly or daily In/Out pass can be purchased from any of the pay stations.

Parking Rates

Purchasing Frequent Visitor Passes

We offer daily In/Out parking passes for $19 (valid for 24 hours from time of entry) weekly parking passes for $45 (valid for 7 consecutive days) and monthly parking passes at $90 (valid for 30 consecutive days) from date of first use.
