Do you need a wheelchair?
Wheelchairs are available in the following areas:
· Main entrance
· Emergency Department entrance
· Lower level West entrance
· Medical office building main entrance
Do You Need an Accessible Parking Spot?
Accessible parking spots are available in the main parking lot close to the main hospital entrance, by the lower level West entrance, by the Annex and by the medical office building.
Do You Use the Mobility Plus Bus?
The pick up and drop off location is the lower level West entrance of the hospital in the covered area.
Do You Need a Sign Language Interpreter?
If you need a sign language interpreter, please inform a staff member before your appointment so we can provide an interpreter for you.
Do You Need a Communication Aide?
Please feel free to bring your communication aides from home. The hospital provides accessible pay phones, TTYs and other assistive devices when needed.
Hospital Accessibility Features
• The main entrance, Emergency Department entrance, lower level West entrance and medical office building entrance have automatic doors and are accessible by wheelchair and scooter.
• Accessible public telephones are available in the main lobby and at the lower level West entrance.
• All elevators have keys with Braille lettering, raised numerals and visual cues.
• A “talking” elevator with auditory signals can be accessed from the main lobby of the hospital.
• Accessible washrooms with automatic or push button openers are available on each floor of the main building. Look for accessible signs above the doors.
• Rest chairs are available in the main hallways.
