A Champion's Visit
On Sunday, July 26, 2009, Markham Stouffville Hospital's paediatric patients and staff members had a chance to see and touch the Stanley Cup up close.
Mike Zigomanis of the Pittsburgh Penguins visited the hospital on Sunday afternoon with the Cup before he made his way to Main Street Markham for a parade in his honour.

Paul Calandra, MP for Oak Ridges-Markham, visited the hospital recently in support of Nursing Week. In addition to sponsoring a break for our nurses, Mr. Calandra wanted to drop by the hospital to personally thank the staff for their hard work and dedication to patient care.
Mr. Calandra met with several members of the senior team as well directors representing areas across the hospital.
