Happy 20th Anniversary Markham Stouffville Hospital!

Markham Stouffville Hospital’s staff, physicians, volunteers and senior team came together this afternoon to celebrate the hospital’s 20th anniversary.

The event, held in the hospital cafeteria, featured speeches, a wonderful slide show which chronicled the hospital’s past, present and future and a commemorative song written and sung by MSH Chaplain Don Shields.

Local MPPs Dr. Helena Jaczek and Michael Chan, along with Town of Markham Mayor, Frank Scarpitti also were at the event to pay their respects to the dedication and commitment shown by hospital staff for the 20 years of progressive, quality care they have provided to the communities of Markham and Stouffville.

“I’m here not only to celebrate with you, but more importantly, to celebrate you," said MPP Michael Chan. "Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for our community.”
