The Markham Jazz Festival Opening Night Gala takes place on Friday, August 20 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $55 and includes a catered intermission reception and silent auction where proceeds benefit Markham Stouffville Hospital. Golf for a cause! The Clubs4Cancer 3rd Annual Golf Tournament take place on Monday. September 13, 2010 at Coppinwood Golf Club. Clubs4cancer was established to not only raise money but raise cancer awareness and commemorate 6 young lives that lost their battle to cancer. Proceeds support Markham Stouffville Hospital. Community events are fundraisers created in support of Markham Stouffville Hospital and managed by businesses, organizations or individual volunteers. These fundraisers demonstrate that our community has a strong belief in the services and programs offered by the Hospital. This is most encouraging for the many volunteers, physicians, and staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital who are dedicated to serving our patients and community.
