Events

Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation hosts a number of Signature Events throughout the year including: 

• Gala - The Fabulous 50 Ball
• Golf Tournament
• MSH 5k/School Challenge
• Climb to Conquer
• 2011 CIBC Celebration of Hope

These Signature Events are planned by the Foundation with the support and commitment by community volunteers. Thank you to our dedicated sponsors, supporters, volunteers and suppliers – with your commitment our Signature Events continue to raise much needed funds for our Hospital.

The funds raised from our upcoming Signature Events will support the expansion of our Hospital. The Hospital was built when Markham was home to 77,000 people, and was designed to serve 110,000. Twenty years later, the population has grown to more than 300,000, and there is no sign that growth is slowing.

The expansion plan will double the existing space, increase the number of inpatient beds and operating rooms, expand the Emergency department and out-patient clinics, and increase capacity for diagnostic screening and testing.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Our community is dedicated to its hospital.  Many individuals, companies and social groups organize fundraisers in support of patient care.
